Poetry in the street

Subiaco Library is taking performance poet Ashley J Higgs, and musician Abraham Dunovits, out of the library and into the street as part of the Spring Poetry Festival.
Ashley J Higgs is a poet, artist, and improviser. He lives between Fitzroy, Melbourne; Fremantle, Perth, and Port Douglas. He has transformed around many Australian festivals including; Artrage, Outrage Festival Melbourne, St. Kilda Poets’ Festival, Melbourne Writers Festival, Overload Poetry Festival, and the Totally Huge New Music Festival.
Abe Dunovits was born in Argentina, grew up in Spain and now resides in Western Australia. He is primarily a guitar player but also plays bass, percussion, sings and writes songs and poems.
