Haiga

Perhaps if prose is like a walk in the park, and poetry is dancing, then haiku is a pirrhouette and haiga is the ballet.
In simple terms, haiga is haiku linked wih images that do not directly represent the images presented in the haiku. The images or art work adds depth to the haiku.
